Rosenthal porcelain bird "crested tit" (haubenmeise). Dates to mid 20th century.
It was designed by Fritz Heidenreich (1895-1966), a German sculptor and head of Rosenthal's art department from 1946 until his retirement in the late 50's.
It measures 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and stands 5 1/2 inches high.
Condition is excellent: no chips, no cracks, no dings.
