Mexican alpaca round pin or pendant. It depicts a sailboat and crescent moon, made with inlaid abalone, turquoise, copper. It's marked:'Alpaca' and 'Mexico'.
The pin is 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Alpaca consists of 55 percent copper, 20 percent nickel, 20 percent zinc and 5 percent tin. Alpaca is also referred to as nickel, nickel-copper plating or most commonly, alpaca silver.
