Indiana Glass ruby flashed Kings Crown compote, 5 1/4 inches high by 5 inches in diameter.
While Indiana Glass Co. probably made more Kings Crown than anyone, the pattern was originated in the mid 19th century by the U. S. Glass Co.
This piece probably dates to the mid 20th century (late 1940's thru mid 1950's) and can be differentiated from pieces in this pattern made by Tiffin by looking at the "thumprint" indentations - Indiana Glass has round indentations while Tiffin's are more oval.
Condition of this piece is excellent.
