Flow blue and celedon Japanese Seto pottery bowl from early 20th century. The inside is decorated with flow blue stems and flowers and the outside is celadon with stems, green leaves, and raised painted white and pink flowers.
The bowl is approximately 7 1/4 inches across by 3 3/8 inches high.
Condition is excellent.
Seto pottery is Japanese high-fired ceramic ware produced in the Seto and Mino domains (Gifu Prefecture) and originated in late 16th century. This area continues to produce high quality pottery.
