Sterling silver spoon (or tea bag) rest (art nouveau) by Rogers, Lunt, & Bowlen (now called simply Lunt Silversmiths) which dates to 1935.
The round bowl is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and the entire piece is 4 inches long.
It sits 3/4 inches high so the the bowl and filigreed handle are level and parallel to the table.
A very intriguing piece, and in excellent condition.
